The battle of ideas is on! WOTRO Science for global development is organizing this interesting battle for international students in honor of their 50th anniversary! International students living in the Netherlands will team up and challenge themselves and each other to come up with the most innovative ideas. The students will pick a theme (Food, Water, Security and Rule of Law, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Inclusive development) and start cracking.
Experts from all over the world will join in and work with the students in the final sandpit on the 15th of October. And the best thing is the winners get some nice price money to invest in their idea. The Battle of Ideas is a challenge but also a co-creation event. The students challenge each other with the objective to even make their opponent better by reflecting on their ideas. Call it a Cooperative Challenge! Hems Zwier of the Social Innovation Lab will team up with WOTRO to create the most exciting and challenging sandpit ever.
